Number of Americans reading e-books doubles

In a recent Harris survey, the number of Americans utilizing e-book readers nearly doubled during the past year.
  • 15%of adults polled used an e-book reader, compared to 8% from 12 months prior.
  • 16% of Americans read between 11-20 books per year.
  • 10% of Americans read more than 21.  Among e-book readers, that figure is closer to 27%
